This April will see the launch of the third Caochangdi PhotoSpring festival and Three Shadows Photography Awards, in Beijing. To celebrate, 3030 Press will offer for sale a selection of books by past winners of the Three Shadows Award plus exhibition catalogues from past festivals and awards exhibitions.
“Caochangdi PhotoSpring 2012 – Arles in Beijing” is the only independent photo festival in China. For the past three years it has contained a unique mix of workshops, lectures, tours and exhibitions by photographers from mainland China and overseas. Today it is a must-visit event on the Chinese art calendar.

One of the main highlights of the festival will be the announcement of the Three Shadows Photography Award winner. This will take place on April 21. Work by all 23 finalists will be on display at the Three Shadows Photography Art Centre in Caochangdi until June 15. For more information please check the PhotoSpring and Three Shadows websites.
